Cake recipe for 22 cm diameter (8.6") bundt cake pan with 10 cm depth (4"). 

Ingredients for the cake:

  • 1/2 cup Irish Whiskey (circa 100g)
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar (circa 100g)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (about 100g)
  • 1 1/2 cups of walnuts (circa 140g)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3 apples (Granny Smith recommended)
  • 2 cups flour (circa 260g)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil / rapeseedoil / sunflower oil (circa 100g)

For greasing the bundt cake:

  • 10g butter + 1 tbsp flour


Ingredients for cream cheese frosting:

  • 200g heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 175g cream cheese


Decoration:

  • 45g walnuts
  • 5-7 tbsp caramel sauce
