Some highlights:

I use a bundt cake with 22 cm diameter (about 8.6 inches).  I bake the cake in the oven at 180 degrees celicus for 55 minutes.

Chocolate bundt cake ingredients:

  1. 2 cups flour
  2. 1.5 cup sugar
  3. 1 tsp baking soda
  4. 2 tbsp baking powder
  5. 1 pack of vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt
  6. 3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  7. 1 cup boiling water
  8. 150g butter
  9. 1/2 cup yogurt
  10. 3 eggs


  1. 100g mascarpone
  2. 100g heavy cream
  3. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  4. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  5. 5 strawberries - chopped smalled
  6. 6 - 8 raspberries (or other fruit of your choice)


100g milk chocolate melted


  1. Add boiling water to butter and coca powder and let sit for about 4 minutes until butter is completely melted.  Stir frequently ensuring no lumps of coca powder.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients.
  3. Add yogurt to dry ingredients.
  4. When cocoa powder has cooled, add to dry ingredients.
  5. Seperate egg whites and beat until soft peaks, then gradually add yolks and continue beating.
  6. Fold in eggs.
  7. Ensure cake pan is thoroughly buttered - dust the base with cocoa powder, to make sure nothing sticks.
  8. Add cake batter to cake pan and bake for 55 minutes at 180 degrees celcius.
  9. Allow to cool completely (at least an hour).
  10. Cut top portion of bundt cake.
  11. Place in freezer for 10 minutes, while preparing the filling.
  12. Combine ingredients for filling and beat until creamy. 
  13. Add to a pastry bag.
  14. Remove cake from freezer and start cutting out the cake with a melon spoon.
  15. Add filling, topped with berries.
  16. Add bundt cake "lid" back on.
  17. Pour melted milk chocolate on top.
